Dry January Completed it Mate. Sober thoughts, Clear mind.

Dry January Completed it Mate. Sober thoughts, Clear mind.
A Podcast discussing alcohol and our relationship with it. Going beyond the typical phrases or narratives;
"I'm off it!", "I'm never drinking again!"
"Thats me done now", That's it I'm going into hibernation now"
"Just the one or Two.....", "I'm taking it easy tonight"
These are all things we've said or thoughts we've had. However that is usually what they remain. A throw away comment or a false promise.
Maybe abstinence is a drastic measure to take for someone who doesn't have a drinking problem? Yes, Maybe it is, but just because you don't have a drinking problem doesn't mean there aren't problems with your drinking.
Life is full of problems and things that are less than ideal, until you change the way that you look at them or alter your perspective on the situation. In order to do so you need to be open minded, open to making potentially positive changes today for a better tomorrow, giving change a chance, and knowing that you do not know everything nor will you.
By being open minded and embracing change, trying new things, learning new things about the world and about yourself you give yourself the best chance of "Knowing it all". Or at least knowing your true self, and not the version everyone expects you to be.
You decide what your best life is and what role alcohol plays in it. Maybe this podcast can be somewhat sobering or perhaps even lead you to be drunk with a new found perspective
Lots of love,
Ladvice! As Always. PEACE! If you did enjoy todays episode be sure to share it on your social media and Tag @ladvice.ie

Transform your Limiting Beliefs and Excuses
Sunday Dec 20, 2020
Sunday Dec 20, 2020
Limiting beliefs we all have them at times even if we don't know it. Limiting beliefs are false beliefs that prevent us from pursuing our goals and desires. Limiting beliefs can keep us from doing important things, like applying for our dream job or finding the relationship we want (or leaving the one we don't want).
In this episode I try to empower you to challenge those negative thoughts and limiting beliefs. Improving your self confidence and enabling you to overcome those limiting beliefs.
Excuses can play a role in preventing us from doing what it is we want to do aswell. I also try to offer alternative perspectives on some common excuses I hear. (Even if the excuse is a valid one)
This podcast concludes the recent podcast series which was aimed to empower people to become more self confident, do what brings them fulfillment on a daily basis or in pursuit of a long term goal or dream. I hope you enjoyed it and if you did please share it on your social media and follow @Ladvice.ie for more!

Overcome the Fear of Failure and Expand Your Comfort Zone
Wednesday Dec 02, 2020
Wednesday Dec 02, 2020
Discussing reasons why people do not do what it is that they truly want to do. Many of the reasons for this fall into three categories, Fear, Limiting Beliefs and Excuses. In todays episode I continue on from last weeks episode "Be Your Own Inspiration". In the previous episode I discussed the fear of being different and wanting to "Conform to the Norm".
Continuing to discuss fears, I kicked things off in this episode, Discussing the Fear of Failure, sharing some thoughts on how you can overcome that fear.
Another fear people have when starting something new or obstacle people face when setting out to do something is the fear from their past failures. I say you should learn from your past mistakes/ failures and not limit yourself to them.
Last but by no means least, I discuss the fear factor when leaving your comfort zone. I share personal experiences and ways in which I have expanded my comfort zone. Let me leave it on this note. "Everything you do today was at one point uncomfortable, Learn to become comfortable with the uncomfortable and you will find personal growth."
Peace and Love,

Be Your Own Inspiration
Wednesday Nov 25, 2020
Wednesday Nov 25, 2020
What Inspires you? Where or Who do you get inspiration from? Personally, I find inspiration in all aspects of life and from a multitude of different people. My main source of inspiration is myself, having a future vision of myself over the next 5-10 years.
When we talk about inspiration people can associate it with big achievements and success, but it can also come from small daily actions, conversations or gestures and hopefully this podcast.
Lets get talking, lets get sharing! I hope this podcast can encourage you to find your passion, your dream, what makes you happy or brings you fulfilment on a daily basis. It all starts with an idea, a vision, a dream, a goal, but it can often stop right there..... people don't pursue their dreams for many different reasons, which will be discussed on future podcasts.
One of the core reasons why I believe people don't do what makes them happy or what they are passionate about is because they want to fit in. They want to be accepted by others. So much so that they choose to conform to the norm and shy away from doing something "different" for fear of judgement. By discussing this I hope people can realize the importance of self acceptance, when you truly accept yourself and what it is you are doing the opinions of other people start to become insignificant.
So go get inspired, be the best version of yourself, and remember your individuality may just be your brilliance!
In a world where everyone is trying to fit in, stand out!
Lots of love and as always, PEACE! xx
