So we've all been there. We fucked up, made a mistake, did or said the "wrong" thing. Things didn't go to plan. You then proceed to have a chat with yourself inside your own head. a very negative one at that. You begin to call yourself names and engage in a dialogue that is very negative with yourself. One that would discourage you from trying something you want to do again for fear of failure or things not turning out as you'd like again.
In this episode I discuss this and try to encourage a more positive dialogue with yourself by treating yourself as you would your best friend or loved one.

How self awareness and self talk can be an important tool to help you become more accepting of who you are, loving towards yourself and helping you identify areas or aspects that you can improve on.
We now live in a world more connected than ever before, all of this external connection can leave us neglecting or not having time to connect with ourselves. In this episode I try to share some of the core reasons why I believe a relationship with yourself is of great importance, and how self talk can help build strong relationship with yourself.

Ghosted! Understanding Modern Day Online Conversations. In this episode I discuss the topic of ghosting people or being ghosted. I searched the google definition of Ghosting and it went a little something like the following:
"Ghosting, term used to describe the ceasing of all communication with someone without warning or justification, and continuing to do so."
We now live in a world where we are more connected than ever before. Or so it seems. Social media and SMS messages have changed modern day conversations. A new introduction to this has been the birth of ghosting people. Social media is a facilitator of this and it doesn't look like it's going away anytime soon. So.... Lets talk about it!
In the episode I share my humble opinion on the topic, looking at some potential misconceptions of the term, reasons why people ghost other people and how you can be more comfortable within yourself after being ghosted.

People around the world are experiencing unprecedented times as a result of COVID-19. In this podcast I discuss my own experience of loosing my job as a result of COVID-19 and the economic implications to my job sector. Just to clarify I wasn't actually sacked.... more like not offered a contract extension (but who doesn't love a play on words for dramatic effect.
I talk about receiving the news and how I deployed a positive mindset to make the most of the situation, turning what seemed like negative news into a positive and new opportunity.

I had planned to do a podcast on Confidence today, but hey guess what I wasnt feeling it so I didn't. So todays episode is just about how I'm feeling today, understanding it's ok to not feel ok. I talk about how I plan to deal with the day and recognising I don't really Feel Ok. My opinion is, If you do feel shit take it easy on yourself talk to friends or family, do things you enjoy or that promote positivity or just have a break.

Gratitude it rhymes with Attitude. Personally over the last year and a bit, I have adopted a very grateful attitude and outlook on life. I take the time to recognise, appreciate ad be grateful for all that life has to offer.
Start by using a journal, write three things you're grateful for every day. Consistently and continuously do this until it becomes and mindset and outlook on life.
Give gratitude time and attention, seek positives in all experiences. This will renforce a positive frame of mind.
